ANNOUNCEMENT!

Arcnet Training & Development Sdn Bhd is proud to announce that we have partnered with Asian Alliance for Advancement Sdn Bhd (collectively known as 3A-ATD) to jointly roll-out Malaysia's first national initiative to professionalise all stakeholders in the Hospitality and Tourism (HOST) industry in support of Visit Malaysia Year 2026.

This national project known as VMY26-SASAR© (Self-Accountability, Self-Advancement and Self-Regulation) is organised in alignment with Visit Malaysia 2026. The SASAR program is acknowledged by Tourism Malaysia of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC) Malaysia, for supporting professional development in the tourism industry.

VMY26-SASAR© National Secretariat at Kuala Lumpur will be the coordinating centre.

About 3A & SPIDER Standard

3A, also the founder of the Advance Accreditation Authority Pte Ltd, Singapore, is the international body responsible for the development of the world's first Standard for Professionalism and Integrity Development, Empowerment and Reach (SPIDER).

The standard is implemented based on personal accreditation via the Global Depository for Professionals (GDP). To enhance the professionalism of HOST providers in Malaysia, individuals involved in HOST across all sectors will first undergo a Professional Tourism Ambassador (PTA) session before registration in the GDP for self-accountability, self-advancement, and self-regulation.

GDP will be a global single-point-of-reference to verify the professional level of HOST providers, serving as a verification portal for tourists.

Expected Outcome

The outcome that will benefit all Malaysians and the country, will be undoubtedly economic vibrance and opportunities when…

''Tourists from all over the world can now have greater peace of mind and be assured of professional hospitality, making Malaysia a memorable 'Truly Asia' journey and discovery!''
